How to install watchOS 10 beta without beta profile

Apple has drop beta profiles, so here's how to get watchOS 10 beta for free without needing a beta profile.

In order to install the watchOS beta, you will first need to enroll the iPhone paired to your Apple Watch in the iOS beta and update to the latest iOS 17 beta.

Please note Apple Watch cannot be restored to previously-released OS versions once the beta is installed.

Turn on beta updates

For devices running watchOS 9.5 or later:

From the iPhone paired to your Apple Watch, go to the Apple Watch app, tap the My Watch tab, then go to General > Software Update > Beta Updates, and choose the watchOS 10 Developer Beta.

For devices running watchOS 9.4 or earlier:

  1. On your iPhone, tap on the "Install Profile" button below to download the watchOS 9 beta profile.
  2. After launching the profile, tap Apple Watch as the installation location and reboot when prompted.
