To stop receiving the iOS beta updates, follow the instructions below to remove the iOS 16 Beta Software Profile. Go to Settings - General - VPN & Device Management and tap the iOS 16 Beta Software Profile that appears.

Remove the iOS 16 Beta Software Profile
Tap Remove Profile. If asked, enter your device passcode, then tap Remove. Once the profile is deleted, your iOS device will no longer receive iOS beta updates. When the next commercial version of iOS is released, you can install it from Software Update.

How do I restore to a prior release?
To go back to a prior release, you can restore your iOS device from the backup that you created before installing the beta sofware.

To stop receiving the iPadOS beta updates, follow the instructions below to remove the iOS 16 & iPadOS 16 Beta Software Profile. Go to Settings - General - VPN & Device Management and tap the iOS 16 & iPadOS 16 Beta Software Profile that appears.

Remove the iPadOS 16 Beta Software Profile
Tap Remove Profile. If asked, enter your device passcode, then tap Remove. Once the profile is deleted, your iPad will no longer receive iPadOS beta updates. When the next commercial version of iPadOS is released, you can install it from Software Update.

How do I restore to a prior release?

Launch System Preferences, and select the Software Update icon.

Unenroll your Mac.
Click the 'Details…' button below 'This Mac is enrolled in the Apple Beta Software Program.'

Confirm Your Change.
A dialog will appear asking if you would like to restore your default update settings. Choose 'Restore Defaults', and your Mac will no longer receive beta updates. When the next commercial version of macOS is released, you can install it from Software Update in System Preferences.

How do I restore a prior release of macOS?
To go back to a prior release of macOS, you can restore your Mac from the Time Machine backup that you created before installing the beta sofware.

To stop receiving the tvOS beta updates, go to Settings > System > Software Update > and turn off Get Beta Updates.

Wait for next tvOS release.
Once your setting has changed, your Apple TV will no longer receive tvOS beta updates. When the next commercial version of tvOS is released, it will automatically install if you have Automatic Software Update turned on. Or, you can install it from Settings > System > Software Updates > Update Software.
Remove the watchOS 9 Beta Software Profile
To stop receiving the watchOS beta updates, go to the Apple Watch app on your paired iPhone, tap the My Watch tab, then go to General > Profiles and tap the watchOS 9 Beta Software Profile that appears. Tap Remove Profile. If asked, enter your device passcode, then tap Remove. Once the profile is deleted, your Apple Watch will no longer receive watchOS beta updates.

Wait for next watchOS release
When the next commercial version of watchOS is released, it will automatically install if you have Automatic Software Update turned on. Or, you can manually check for updates by going to the Apple Watch app on your paired iPhone, tapping the My Watch tab, then going to General > Software Update.

To stop receiving the HomePod Sofware beta updates, follow the instructions below to remove the HomePod Sofware version 16 Profile. Open the Home app on iPhone (or iPad) paired to your HomePod mini and touch and hold a HomePod, then tap Accessory Details. Scroll down, tap Profiles & Device Management and tap the HomePod 16 Beta Software Profile that appears.

Remove the HomePod 16 Beta Software Profile
Tap Remove Profile. If asked, enter your device passcode, then tap Remove. Once the profile is deleted, your HomePod mini will no longer receive HomePod Software beta updates.

Wait for next HomePod Software release
When the next commercial version of HomePod mini is released, it will automatically install if you have Automatic Software Update turned on. Or, you can manually check for updates by going to the Home app on your paired iPhone or iPad, tap the three-dot icon in the top right corner in the Home app, tap Home Settings, then go to Software Update.
